Wiki Life Call me "Al". I am a sysop/admin and bureaucrat here at Webkinz Wiki. I can also be found puttering around over at Guild Wars Wiki.

Real Life I am a soon-to-be 31-year-old mother of two little girls, "Roo" and "JellyBean". I am a nerd and a sci-fi fantasy nut. Check out my blog.

Work Life I work full-time as a Senior Web Developer for Pitt Bull Secure Technologies and freelance as BenignDesign in my spare time.

• Can I help with Webkinz Wiki?
  • You certainly can! As you can see, this Wiki is far from complete and we can use all the help we can get! Register for an account, choose your favorite Webkinz topic and start typing!

• Why has the page I completed been modified?
  • The world of Wiki has certain conventions that are to be followed. Maintaining this level of content sometimes requires modification to user-created pages. I will do my best to keep you work intact, however, I will frequently split topics if a page becomes too long.

• I've never edited a Wiki before. Where can I find help on how to do it?
  • Help is available through the Wiki Tutorial, the Central Forum, the Webkinz Wiki Forum or by contacting me personally.

• Why did you remove my real name and age from my user page?
  • I do my best to maintain similar security standards to those found in the Webkinz online universe. Part of these standards includes ensuring the safety and security of our members under the age of 18. If you have noted your name and age (which is under 18) anywhere on this Wiki, I will remove the information. I will also remove names and ages of member's children should those children be under the age of 18. Please use an alias (ie, "Puppy", "StLuc12", etc) and a general age group (ie, "Teenager", "Middle Schooler", etc) to introduce yourself here at the Wiki.
    • But you posted your name and age!
      • Sort of. I have included my age, but again, I am over the age of 18. The name 'Aldora', however, is an alias and not my real name. In addition, I have referred to my children by nicknames and omitted their ages, indicating only that they are 'little'.
        • What about posting where I am from?
          • Again, as a matter of security for our members, anything more detailed than your country of origin will be removed. Please do not list cities, towns or states. Only the country of origin will be accepted. For example, I live in the US. You may live in England, Canada, the Netherlands, etc - please do not give any more specific information than this.

• Why won't you be my friend in Webkinz World?
  • I do not have a WW account of my own. We - as in my family - have two accounts, one for each of my children. I will not allow anyone my children do not know in real life access to their friends' lists. This is my own personal guideline. As a result, I am unable to be your friend inside Webkinz World. If you need to contact me, please see my contact section, listed above. Thanks.
