The Lion webkinz pet is not commonly used by Ganz. It has a Lil'Kinz, isn't retired and wasn't Pet of the Month. Its special food is a Zebra Dog and special item is the Monarch of the Beasts Throne. Also, the female lion, a Lioness was released in May 2008 (three years after the Lion). It has a Figurine, the Fraidy Cat Lion.

The lion is another Webkinz with long hairs on its back and short smooth ones on its back. It has a mane of brown fur around its yellow head. Its body is yellow all over except for its mane and its tail (which is bushy and brown at the end).

• Dex Dangerous, Livingston Lion and Alex the Brave are the only Lion characters seen in Webkinz World.
• A Lion (Dex Dangerous) has been seen in an arcade game.
• A Lioness has been released in Webkinz World in May 2008 making the lion the only pet with a properly named female counterpart (none of this Whimsy Dragon-Emperor Dragon stuff).
• The Lion's special food is one of them that are another pet.
• The Lion is the fifth Webkinz in a row to use the hair on back, smooth on front design.
• The Lion was in a Quizzy Calendar for January 2005.
